Ian McCartney MP is encouraging local constituents to join in MacMillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday, 25th September 2009.
Ian McCartney MP said, “In the UK today, 2 million people are affected by cancer. I know many of my constituents have personal experience of the problems a cancer diagnosis can bring to both patients and their family. MacMillan Cancer Support is there for people from the moment they suspect they might have cancer, with practical, medical, financial and emotional help and support. Being part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is such an easy way to show your support. I hope local people will join thousands of others across the UK at work, at home, or at school raising money to help MacMillan continue its vital work.”
